My sister and I had to plan for our Mother, We talked to several places and landed at Sim's. There was a degree of caring through the phone call. Once we meet with Ms. Thrasher it was evident that we were in the right place. She kept us informed at every turn. The pricing was up front and reasonable. The personal care Ms. Thrasher gave allowed us to get through this process with assurance our Mother was in very caring hands. Thank you Ms. Thrasher and your team of care-takers.

The passing of my dear Uncle was almost unbearable for many reasons, but Ms. Linda Thrasher and Ms. Nedra were my life savers. As a niece I have never in my life planned a funeral from beginning to end. But with the help of both angels I believe God sent me to, they were truly answers to my prayers. The care and concern they showed was beyond expression of words. They were patient, understanding, and compassionate with me through the whole process and still. Ms. Linda walked with me every step of the way, even down to saving me due to family differences the day before viewing my uncle. I could never express the heartfelt gratitude that I feel at this time. I look at Ms. Linda like family now and I'm thankful and grateful to have met such a beautiful soul. And just to note they were the most reasonably priced for the services we needed. So thankful for Sims funeral home.

A HUGE shoutout and thank you to Ms. Linda Thrasher. My aunt (Michelle McIntire, May 2021) passed away and I had no idea what to do, how to do it, especially in the wake of a global pandemic. I had never planned a funeral before or even discussed my aunt's end of life wishes. Linda met my panic with calm and all of my questions with patience. She was able to transform my "I think so's" and "that would be nice" into a beautiful service I am certain my aunt would be proud of. Thank you so much Ms. Linda. You took care of me (and my family) LIKE family. So glad I went with FL Sims.

I would like to thank Mrs. Linda Thrasher for making it easy on my family when dealing with the passing of my brother. Living 3 hours away in SC; she was patient with us and always picked up the phone when called. Mrs. Linda listened to all of our needs and made it a breeze to uphold my brothers wishes. Everything discussed and promised was delivered. Mrs. Linda even went above and beyond with the amount of people for viewing when she did not have to. My mother, brother and I are forever grateful. This testimony is long overdue but nevertheless well deserved. Miss Linda was such a blessing with assisting me with my only sister's (Shaundrika Shields, April 2019) service. Miss Linda listened to all my wants & needs & helped made the transition a breeze. I truly do not know what I would've did without her. I called around to other homes & didn't receive the confidence & reassurance like Linda Thrasher gave. I can never thank her enough!

I want to thank the Sims Funeral Home for the service that provided for my family. This was a bitter sweet time for our family, the bitter part being we lost alove one. The sweet part was Ms. Linda Thrasher held our hands through a very difficult time. Her spirit was warm and genuine. She went above the call of her duties to see to our family was okay and came out on the other side of our lost. I can not repay the love and prayers that she showed us. I just want to say thank you to Lydia and Fernando. Two of the most compassionate people I know. W hen my son Christopher was in Hospice Atlanta I saw one of their postcards in the sitting room. I called them and they went over the details with me. Christopher White died February 19, 2015 of complications of transverse myelitis. . Little would I k now that my husband, Robert, would die from brain cancer on June 30, 2016. I contacted them again and once more they showed the most care and understanding. I am now making pre-need arrangements for myself.

The staff is very professional and were available to answer our questions 24/7. They were very caring and sincere in helping us through this difficult time in our life. I would definitely recommend this Funeral Home. Lydia did an excellent job coordinating the Funeral For my dad. Dealing with death is never easy, but the staff at Sims Funeral Home made the experience bearable. They were all to eager to help in the planning. They were sensitive to how difficult the process was. And the day of the memorial I truly felt that my loved one would have been pleased with how the service went. I am so impressed with F.L. Sims Funeral Home. During a difficult time, the staff was supportive and helpful. You could feel the support and sense of community through the entire process. When my husband was put on hospice I didn't know what to do. I had to choose a funeral home and had no context for who to use in Georgia because we are originally from the Chicago area. His hospice nurse recommended Sims funeral home. They helped me so much during such a difficult time and I am so thankful for her recommendation. I whole heartedly recommend them and, while I hope I won't need them again any time soon, I know who to call in the event that I do.

I lost my son unexpectedly and knew it was his wish to be cremated. My niece talked to Fernando at F. L. Sims Funeral Home and he was so helpful and warm. We set up an appointment to make arrangements and the funeral director that met with us did not try to pressure us into doing anything other than exactly what we asked for. I am so appreciative for being welcomed in to a professional and warm atmosphere despite the stress and sadness my family and I were dealing with.
