Fernando Sims

Founder/CEO

Born and raised in metro Atlanta, Fernando's interest in funeral service can be tied to his maternal grandfather, Elijah Sims, who established the first Sims Funeral Home in 1943.  Fernando studied marketing at the University of West Georgia before starting his own corporate transportation company in the early 2000s, which he continues to operate while serving as the figurehead of Sims Funeral Homes.   A true Georgia sports fan, he's always in the know about the state's upcoming class of football or basketball athletes and ready to talk shop on Georgia Bulldog football.
